Top Dressing is carried out after the aeration process. The aeration is the insertion of small holes into the grass to give a good drainage flow for healthy growth of the grass roots. the application of a kiln dried mixture of sand and loam.


The Top Dressing process is the application of a mixture comprising of sand and loam. Due to the holes from the aeration the benefit is that the seed goes straight to the root of the grass.


This process is also ideal if you are thinking of planting new seed.
